Awesome Ride My Grandson loves this and he is 2.5 years old! For $179 bucks you can't beat it. Thank you Amanzon.com!!! :2011-06-05 23:48:23
Best Christmas Present So Far I bought this for my 5-year-old for Christmas over the Power Wheels since it has an 85 lb. weight limit versus 65 lbs. for the Power Wheels. That, coupled with the free extended 2 year warranty, and I was hooked. Assembly was a challenge since there are no written instructions and just pictures, but I did it by myself in about an hour without calling in a male to help me. We live in the city, so our initial terrain is sidewalks. After going the 2.5 mph speed so he could get the feel of it, we switched to 5 mph. Of course, he loved the faster speed and I got my exercise chasing him. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I know he won't outgrow this anytime soon even though he's already 4 feet tall.
P.S. I also purchased the rubber bands from traction bands dot com to help extend the life of the wheels.
P.P.S. The hand grips are a bit of a challenge to put on. A quick spray of some Pam cooking spray inside and they slid right on. :2011-06-05 23:45:31
Fun 4 Wheeler We purchased the Peg Perego Polaris Outlaw to replace a different 4-Wheeler that had been given to us. Since we live in the upper Midwest, our boys (ages 4 & 3) haven't had much opportunity to ride on it due to all the snow. We selected this model because we also own the Peg Perego John Deere Gator and want to be able to share our extra battery. The price was also more reasonable than comparable models from other companies. I really like the option of being able to "Lock it" in low gear. We are very happy with our purchase! :2011-06-05 23:48:00
Good Choice Santa had this sitting under the tree for my 4 year old. At first I thought he may be too big for it. Boy was I wrong, it was perfect for him. We took it up the street to show his best friend and she jumped on the back and they rode around, there was a little snow on the ground and it still did well. He shifted the gears and had a surprised look when it really picked up the speed. He loves this toy. I sent pictures to friends of him and his best friend riding in the snow and everyone thought it was a real gas 4 wheeler. Great toy for the money! I did go out and purchase a skateboard type helmet for him, I would recommend one because it does go pretty fast!
I also was able to assemble this myself with no problems, just follow step by step. :) :2011-06-05 23:46:06
Great for my three yr old This is great for my three year old son. And he still has room to grow into it. Perfect speed for him. :2011-06-05 23:48:42
Great product but the age children This is a beautiful bike.
Made in America! How often can you say that anymore?
But Amazon says that the manufacturer rates this bike for children 18 months+ and that is incorrect.
The box that the bike was shipped in clearly says that the bike is for children ages 3-7 years old.
I am sure that my two year old grandson will enjoy it tremendously once he grows into it but I wish
that I had known it isn't suited for children as small as he is now.
I would have chosen something that he can use now.

my 2 1/2 year old loves it Santa brought this quad for my son who is 2 1/2 years old. he is a athletic child and has always loved cars. he had a little john deer one last year and this is a huge difference, it has power and goes on all surfaces- the grass and the blacktop. uphill, downhill it does it all! we let him have only the first speed till he was comfortable- which took a few hours of riding, and then took off the governor and let him ride. he rode for over 3 hours the first day with the last hour at full power and the battery charge never dipped. ps-he always wears his helmet. :2011-06-05 23:46:54
My son absolutely love it We bought this for my going-to-be 3 years old son this christmas. My husband didn't have trouble assembling it mostly. The hand grips was rather difficult to put on, but once we poured some rubbing alcohol in them, they slide right in. The decals are pretty cool looking. My son had the 6V powerwheels, so he just got right on this one, press the pedal and ready to go. He also learned the reverse feature right the way. It's so much fun, and he's riding it around the pavement and lawn outside perfectly. :2011-06-05 23:47:25
Peg Perego Polaris ATV This is really nice. Didn't take me long to put it together. I recommend getting the rubber tire tractions and gluing them on before assembling the wheels. My grandson loves it. It goes pretty fast and does very well in the grass and driveway. :2011-06-05 23:46:22
Peg Porego Polaris Outlaw 4 wheeler We got this for our almost 4 year old son for Christmas. He LOVES it and it's very easy for him to drive. Love that he can have a "4 wheeler" without it being one of those heavy, more dangerous models. I thought at 2.5 and 5 miles per hour that it might be kind of slow but it actually goes pretty fast. I also like the 85lb weight limit because he'll be able to use it for years! It easily goes up hills and seems very durable! :2011-06-05 23:45:49
THIS WAS A HIT We purchased this for our 3-year-old son and he absolutely LOVES this thing! I must say that it does go a bit fast as it is a 12-volt, but you are able to adjust the "gears" to only have 2 acessible to them. It even fits our 9-year-old daughter too! Very easy for the 3yr old to figure out how to turn too. Great toy that will get lots of use between our 3 kiddos! :2011-06-05 23:46:38
